CREDO's NextStep$ blog is a place to explore how the financial aspects of our lives weave together with the various components of CREDO and how we can draw closer to the life God calls us to live. In her blog, Celeste Ventura uses the lens of Identity, Discernment, Practice and Transformation, the rich concepts of “With Measured Steps,” as well as visitors' insights, questions and stories. She hope that through Next Step$, visitors can gain a deeper and broader financial understanding and practice, in hopes that we may “…be faithful stewards of God’s bounty.”
Celeste Ventura is a faculty member for CREDO conferences, a presenter for The Church Pension Group’s Planning for Tomorrow, Enriching Your Retirement and seminary conferences, and assists with providing CREDO Web resources on financial wellness. In 2005, she retired from Merrill Lynch as Vice President and Senior Financial Consultant after serving her clients for more than 22 years. Celeste is a parishioner at St. Mary’s by-the-Sea in the Diocese of El Camino Real, enjoys long walks and talks on the beach, and lives in Carmel Valley, California.
